Our services on a Sunday are simple and ordered. When we worship God we are coming into the presence of the Holy God the maker of heaven and earth.

We also read the Bible, pray and sing psalms and hymns and use the King James Version of the Bible in all of our services throughout the week.

After our evening service we enjoy refreshments - usually some cake and tea - and spend time in fellowship with one another. This is a great chance to get to know each other and discuss what we’ve heard over a hot drink.

“God is greatly to be feared in the assembly of the saints, and to be had in reverence of all them that are about him. ”

Central to our Services is the preaching of the Bible - God’s word. God speaks to us through this preaching.

For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe.
1 Corinthians 1:21

Fellowship

During the term Students are hosted with different families for Sunday afternoon and enjoy a much needed hot meal!

We also host a Church Fellowship Lunch once a month – friends are encouraged to bring food along and we enjoy a buffet style lunch.

Ladies Bible Study

On a Tuesday morning we meet at the Pastor’s house for our Ladies Bible Study. Our Pastor leads this meeting - recently we finished a series on the Christian in complete armour. The meeting is informal with questions and discussion welcomed and afterwards we have a time of prayer and then some cake. Once a month with permission from the owners we hold this at Hengoed Court Care Home in the coffee room. A number who live in the care home attend. This once a month meeting is usually followed by some favourite hymns sung together and the usual cake and hot drinks!
